At meal times we have a range of seating options depending on the child’s age and stage. However, they are all seated together to encourage social interaction and build on relationships. Meals will need to be provided by you.
Snack times are provided by us in the morning and afternoon. We offer a range of fruits and milk at this time.

The room is designed for babies, with low shelving, age-appropriate tables, chairs and resources. We have different textured flooring, ceiling mobiles and twinkling lights to encourage sensory development on every level. The room is flanked by low level windows which look out on to the school playing fields and beyond this the countryside.
This area encourages children to play with representations of familiar animals vehicles and begin to play imaginatively and rein act their experiences.
This area is designed to encourage imaginative play and physical development. Manipulation of shape sorters and puzzles encourage problem solving and development of muscles in the fingers, hands and arms.
This area is designed to encourage Gross motor development from crawling to pulling up to climbing. This area challenges the children’s abilities in a safe and secure way.
This area offers an area to rest and relax in. Here the children can share a book with an adult or choose one to look at independently.
The books range from picture books and short stories.
Our Babyroom staff are all trained to a high standard and have your children’s wellbeing and development at the forefront of their minds.
Tara is our room leader and along with her team she provides a holistic approach to encouraging your child’s development. Our key person system means that one of these members of staff will be in charge of your child’s development journal on Tapestry and communication to home.
